Joined the Army in 1949 at age 16.  Boot camp at fort Riley, KS, 10th Mountian Div .... Sent to Fort Lewis, Washington, 2nd Inf. Div, 38th F.A. Bn ....  Sent to Korea July 1950, Captured by Chinese in November 1950.... spent 3 years as POW. 

 

Went to school University of Oklahoma in 1957, certified as Surgion's Asst. Joined Greyhound bus lines in 1964 as a driver ... retired in 1994.... Joined Torrance Unified School District as Transportation, Training, and Safety  Supervisor... retired 2013...
